  • Job Description

    Zapproved is hiring a Director of Product to join our fast-growing legal software-as-a-service company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. In this new role, you will manage the day-to-day workings of the product team and partner with our VP Product to bring new legal SaaS ediscovery product offerings to market. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, key customers and industry experts to enable a dynamic product team to deliver products that will exceed customer expectations.


    What You’ll Be Doing:

    In this role, you’ll…

    •  Champion product capabilities that deliver a delightful user experience and high renewal rates.
    •  Execute product strategy within a high-velocity agile environment that delivers incremental value quickly and iterates based on user feedback.
    •  Manage and coach a team of Product Owners to facilitate their professional growth and career progression.
    •  Own the results. Analyze KPI’s and use them to drive decision-making about the future of the product.
    •  Work with the VP of Product and senior leadership team to define the long-term product vision in order to align with and achieve the company’s overall strategic goals.


    What You’ll Need:

    •  5+ years as a Product leader, or Product Manager/Product Owner for B2B products
    •  Experience managing or closely mentoring growing teams
    •  Customer focus and collaborative approach with the ability to influence across organizations and within the industry
    •  Ability to break down complex problems into steps that effectively drive results
    •  Ability to consult, collaborate and influence senior level management within Fortune 500 companies
    •  Expert level knowledge of emerging technologies, market trends and customer needs
    •  Experience in the SaaS / software industry, developing solutions for enterprise customers
    •  BS in related field or equivalent experience; MBA is a plus


    What Would Be Nice:

    •  Experience in working with legal software and/or e-discovery for corporate legal departments
    •  Strong knowledge / understanding of the general counsel / legal organizational structure in Fortune 500 companies
